obsessive24 has made a useful summary of the case against MegaUpload (and for kiwis, there's some discussion in the comments about the NZ arrests and extradition). I think all this would feel like less of a kick in the teeth if there'd been a concerted effort to hold Wall St accountable for its crimes; as it is, it only seems to underline the fact that law enforcement (and the law itself) primarily serves powerful corporations.
toru. This editorial about the GOP by an ex-insider is hair-raising and well worth a read, imo. The more I read about US politics, the more it feels like a puppet show put on to distract people from the market forces behind the scenes.
